已經是面試前兩天了（又是抱佛腳的狀況XDD）

打開自己的電腦還發現自己沒有publisher

其實還滿佩服自己的(絕對不是因為我有多強多厲害...)

而是因為自己對於"當老師"這件事情真的沒有太大的嚮往吧..

＊ To kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee)

To Kill a Mockingbird is a novel by Harper Lee published in 1960. It was immediately successful, winning the Pulitzer Prize, and has become a classic of modern American literature. The plot and characters are loosely based on the author's observations of her family and neighbors, as well as on an event that occurred near her hometown in 1936, when she was 10 years old.

The novel is renowned for its warmth and humor, despite dealing with the serious issues of rape and racial inequality. The narrator's father, Atticus Finch, has served as a moral hero for many readers and as a model of integrity for lawyers. One critic explains the novel's impact by writing, "In the twentieth century, To Kill a Mockingbird is probably the most widely read book dealing with race in America, and its protagonist, Atticus Finch, the most enduring fictional image of racial heroism."

Moby-Dick; or, The Whale (1851) is the sixth book by American writer Herman Melville. The work is an epic sea-story of Captain Ahab's voyage in pursuit of Moby Dick, a great white whale. It initially received mixed reviews and at Melville's death in 1891 was remembered, if at all, as a children's sea adventure, but now is considered one of the Great American Novels and a leading work of American Romanticism.

The opening line, "Call me Ishmael," is one of the most recognizable opening lines in Western literature. Ishmael then narrates the voyage of thewhaleship Pequod, commanded by Captain Ahab. Ahab has one purpose: revenge on Moby Dick, a ferocious, enigmatic white whale which on a previous voyage destroyed Ahab's ship and severed his leg at the knee. The detailed and realistic descriptions of whale hunting and the process of extracting whale oil, as well as life aboard ship among a culturally diverse crew, are mixed with exploration of class and social status, good and evil, and the existence of God.

    Mother Goose 是英國民間童謠集，中文譯為鵝媽媽童謠集。這些民間童謠在英國流傳時間相當久，有的長達數百年，總數約有八百多首，內容典雅，有幽默故事、遊戲歌曲、兒歌、謎語、催眠曲、字母歌、數數歌、繞口令、動物歌等，英國人稱其為Nursery Rhymes(兒歌)，美國人稱其為Mother Goose(鵝媽媽童謠)，是英、美人士從孩童時代就耳熟能詳的兒歌，其中蘊含大量的英、美文化素材。兒歌教學，不但可以增進孩童對英、美文化的瞭解，提高孩子學習英語的興趣，更是訓練發音聽力培養英語語感的最佳工具。

＊ Hark! The Herald Angels sing

"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is a Christmas carol that first appeared in 1739 in the collection Hymns and Sacred Poems, having been written by Charles Wesley. A somber man, Wesley had requested and received slow and solemn music for his lyrics, not the joyful tune expected today. Moreover, Wesley's original opening couplet is "Hark! how all the welkin rings / Glory to the King of Kings".

The popular version is the result of alterations by various hands, notably by Wesley's co-worker George Whitefield who changed the opening couplet to the familiar one, and by Felix Mendelssohn. A hundred years after the publication of Hymns and Sacred Poems, in 1840, Mendelssohn composed a cantata to commemorate Johann Gutenberg's invention of the printing press, and it is music from this cantata, adapted by the English musician William H. Cummings to fit the lyrics of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”, that propels the carol known today.

"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is a popular Christmas song written in 1963 by Edward Pola and George Wyle. It was recorded and released that year by pop singer Andy Williams for his first Christmas album, The Andy Williams Christmas Album. However, the song was not released as a promotional single by Williams' record label (Columbia Records) that year, as they instead opted to promote his cover of "White Christmas" as the official promo single from the album.

A more popular activity in decades past, Christmas caroling is a wonderful way to share the spirit of the holiday season. Caroling may require planning, but your efforts will provide joy to participants and listeners alike. Go caroling to make the holidays extra special.

Instructions

1.Gather a group interested in caroling. Consider friends and family, Boy Scout Troops, church groups and other groups of volunteers. A sizeable group is always nice, but caroling can even be done solo.

2.Plan a date. The activity usually takes place in the evening in close proximity to the holidays. Note that Go Caroling Day is December 20, if you'd like to share in this national celebration of holiday singing.
